[ Arrival Delhi ]
WELCOME TO INDIA! On arrival at delhi international airport, you are greeted with traditional indian welcome and escorted to the hotel.

  DAY 2 |

[ Delhi ]
Morning, combined sight seeing tour of old & new delhi. In old delhi , which was built by shahjehan visit red fort, jama masjid, a mile long chandni chowk , delhi gate, raj ghat and shantivan and new delhi [design by edwin lutyens and herbert baker]. Rashtrapati bhawan, india gate, laxminarayan temple humayun’s tomb, purana qila, tughlaqabad qutub minar and bahai’s temple.

  DAY 3 |

[ Delhi - Sariska National Park ]
Morning, drive to alwar. on arrival check in at the hotel. Later in the day explore sariska wildlife sanctuary.
Sariska was declared national park in the year 1982, famous for its tiger reserve one can view tigers, panthers, wild boars, jackals, jungle cats, hyena, fox, sambhar , cheetal, nilgai and birds species like the peafowl, grey partridges, quails, sandgrouses, white breasted kingfishers, woodpeckers, eagle and horned owls, etc.
At kankawadi fort aurangzeb had imprisoned the eldest son of shahjehan occasionly leopards from the park visits this fort in search of food.

[ Sariska - Jaipur ]
Morning drive to jaipur , on the way visit the amber fort on elephant’s back. later in the day sight seeing of jaipur includes city palace,central museum , jantar mantar is the largest of the five observatories, built in the 17th century built by sawai jaisingh, hawamahal.

[ Jaipur - Agra ]
Morning, drive to agra on arrival check-in at the hotel.

[ Agra ]
The taj mahal : one of the seven wonders of the world, built by emperor shah jehan in memory of his beloved consort mumtaz mahal, this beautiful mausoleum is pure white marble and an architectural marvel. Agra fort : built by emperor akbar, the maze of courtyards, mosques and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the mughal empire. Moti masjid, jasmine tower and itmad-ud-daulah reflect the skills of the ancient indian architects and artists.
Sikandra : the tomb of akbar the great, built in red sandstone inlaid with marble is a striking sight to view Taj.

  DAY 7 |

[ Agra - Jhansi - Orchha - Khajuraho ]
Early breakfast at the hotel.
Leave for railway station to connect shatabadi express for agra/jhansi (0800/1040 hrs.). Arrive jhansi and leave for khajuraho via orchha which is approx 11 kms. And 30 minutes drive). Once the capital city of powerful rajput kingdom. Orchha (hidden place) is now just a village, set among a wonderful complex of well preserved palaces and temples. The main palaces were protected inside fortified walls on an island in the betwa river. The palaces (the jehangir mahal, the raj mahal, raj praveen mahal) the impressive chhatris (cenotaphs) to orchha’s rulers , down the betwa river are worth visiting. Leave for khajuraho approx 175 kms. – 04 hrs. Drive). Arrive khajuraho and check-in at hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

[ Khajuraho ]
Morning : city sightseeing of khajuraho which is known for its magnificent temples, which are among the most creative examples of indian architecture. Built between 950 and 1050 a.d., only 22 temples out of 85 now survive. Khajuraho sculpture is sublime and sensuous, the center of new imagery in art. The popular theme is woman; reflective, playful, amorous. The carvings also depict griffin's nymphs, beasts, and demons in revolt, gods in cosmic evolution, fear, doubt, jealousy, ardent love and consummate passion. The temples of khajuraho can be divided into three geographical groups - western, eastern and southern. Sightseeing of khajuraho: visit the temples of khajuraho, which are world famous.

[ Khajuraho - Varanasi ]
Morning, drive to varanasi on arrival check in at the hotel enroute visiting sarnath. Sarnath : eight kms (5 miles) north of varanasi is sarnath, where, in the deer park, gautam buddha delivered his first sermon after he became the 'enlightened one'. The ruins of monasteries, built more than 2000 years ago, the dhamok stupa, the dharmaraji ka stupa and the main shrine draw buddhist pilgrims yearly to sarnath. The mahabodhi society of india have recently built a modern vihara, the interior frescoes of which have been executed by a japanese artist. At sarnath stands the famous ashoka pillar of polished sandstone whose lion capital has been adopted by the republic of india as its state emblem. The museum designed like a buddhist monastery, contains many superb specimens of ancient art.

  DAY 10 |

[ Varanasi ]
Early morning: drive through the city to the sacred river ganges and visit by boat the bathing ghats, observatory, nepalese temple (temple of love). Cremation ghats and aurangzeb's mosque. Return to desasswamedh ghat and then back to the hotel.
Morning : city sightseeing visiting temples. To the hindus, varanasi, sprawling along the left bank of the river ganga, is the holiest city. With its array of shrines, temples and palaces rising in several tiers from the water's edge, varanasi is one of the most fascinating cities in the east. It is also a city of fairs and festivals, celebrating about four hundred of them during the year. Since time immemorial, varanasi has been a center of learning and the banaras hindu university founded in 1916 keeps the tradition alive today. Sightseeing of varanasi includes visiting bharat mata temple, durga temple (monkey temple - because of the presence of a myriad of monkeys), emperor aurangzeb's mosque, the sacred bull, the well of knowledge, vishwanath temple (golden temple since its spires are covered with gold), visit banaras hindu university with its marble shiva temple, brocade and saree shops and drive through the bazaars.

[ Varanasi - Delhi ]
Later transfer to airport. Board a flight to delhi on arrival in delhi transfer from domestic airport to international airport to connect your flight for onward destination.
